The dance department will present their final showcase, Neverland, at Del Valle Theater in Walnut Creek. Tickets are on sale now for the performance, with standard, VIP, and donor level seating available.
2024 High School Winter Retreat in Carmel Valley
January 12-14, 2024
The last annual High School Winter Intensive was in January at Hidden Valley Music Seminars in Carmel Valley. Participating dance majors spend 2 nights and 3 days at an arts intensive with guest artists, working with other majors to create a performance at the end of the workshop.
The 2024 year's visiting artist focused on flamenco dance.
2025 National High School
Dance Festival
February 2025
The CocoSPA high school dancers attended the National/Regional High School Dance Festival for the third year in 2025. This year's event was held in Pittsburgh, PA at Point Park University.
The festival welcomes high school age dancers from around the United States and abroad to participate in auditions, concerts, a college fair, and more than 100 master classes. The festival is open ONLY to students currently enrolled in grades 9-12 at their high school, by invitation.
Students perform in pre-selected dance showcases, in groups and solos, showing talent from across the country, and audition for colleges and scholarships.
CocoSPA's Final Bows

As the school prepares for its final days at the end of 2025, there will be a celebration of the journey for all students, parents, and staff. Short performances, food trucks, and a "celebration of life" are planned from 4:00-8:00 pm.
