TAJH MALIK (they/them) is a Michigan native who has recently moved to the Bay Area. They studied dance at Western Michigan University and then moved to Chicago to work on projects with groups such as The Seldoms, Inaside Dance Chicago and the World WildLife Fund.

 

Upon leaving Chicago, they spent 3 years as a dance captain performing with Norwegian Cruise Lines, working on David Ruttura's adaption of "Footloose! The Musical", "Priscilla Queen of the Desert" as a rehearsal swing and eventually being a part of the inaugural cast of Warren Carlyle's "Palace of Lights".

 

Tajh has also been lucky enough to work on projects with HBO, Miss Gay America, Busch Gardens and JINS Eyewear. Since moving to the Bay Area, they have been able to participate in projects with the likes of Mark Travis Dance, Detour Dance, Axis Dance Company, Sean Dorsey Dance, San Franpsycho and San Francisco Pride while teaching and choreographing at Berkeley Playhouse and guest teaching at high schools throughout the East Bay.
